circle k immerses us in the evening of a character who does not stand out for his genius, but who remains entertaining to watch. “You know exactly what I want from you. Do you speak my language? », sings Gabrielle La Rue. Musically, the little pleasures are tangible during the three minutes and forty-five seconds of the piece which brings together several elements from the easy tiger bucket list: whiplash at the start of the bridge, saxophone solo and multiple reverberations superimposed on an intense pop intention bordered by synths.

“It’s a light song. “It’s someone who goes hard on a bender and builds a very shallow relationship with a date that won’t go far at all,” explains Gabrielle La Rue.

“It’s very 80s. We made the song that we wanted to listen to,” says Sarah Dion.

circle k was entirely recorded, engineered and produced by easy tiger. We hear the voices, guitars and drums of the duo formed by Gabrielle La Rue and Sarah Dion, as well as the synths of Alex McMahon, without forgetting the saxophone solo of Alex Dodier.
